The smell of the hot desert and the earth after it rains. The sound of leaves crunching under my feet. The breeze dancing in the leaves of trees. These are the simple things God has given us and these are the simple things that inspire me.

Hair brushing
Tyler was brushing my hair. When he stopped, I asked, "Tyler are you going to brush my hair some more?"
Tyler puts his hand on my shoulder looks into my eyes, tilts his head and says, "I'm going to save it for a little later, ok mom?"
